LOTTO V 1.0
September 1995

This is not so much a game as it is a demonstration of how unprofitable playing the lottery is.

This program simulates playing the New York State Lottery game called LOTTO. For a dollar you get to pick 2 sets of 6 different numbers (from 1 - 54). If you match all six numbers with the drawn numbers you win millions. There are also prizes for matching 5 numbers. 4 numbers and 3 numbers along with a supplemental number (seventh drawn number). The supplemental number is only used for the fourth place winner.

This is a pretty simple game but I have spent some time trying to make it look good and be easy to play. The best way to understand how it works is to run it a few times.

To install, copy LOTTO.OPA into any /APP/ directory and install in the usual way (PSION-I) from the System screen.

Good Luck.

NOTES:

I have done my best to approximate the actual odds of the NYS Lotto Game, however...
